Vienna was the pivotal point of great changes for Science specifically in the area of Medicine.
Therapeutics became a prime goal of Medical Science other than the Philosophical aspect of describing the course, and eventuality of a given disease. The nucleus of the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industry was seeded at this time.
