When sixteen-year-old Katie Ryan moves to the infamous witch town of Salem, Massachusetts, the last thing she expects to encounter is a handsome and charismatic "popular" boy who insists they should be together despite his scheming friends-a group of "in-crowd" students that label Katie an "outsider" and make her the object of their cruel pranks. However, Katie has more on her mind than just boyfriends and bullies. She is experiencing paranormal episodes, and since moving to Salem, the incidents have become more powerful and frequent. Realizing that she cannot ignore the supernatural forces at work in her world, Katie embarks on a quest to discover the true source of her powers.
