Nikki headed to her dad's bedside when she found he was sick, maybe dying. That is also when she found out that the tales her dad told her as a child about parallel worlds had turned from science fiction to science fact. Nikki teams u with old friends and new in search of a cure for her dad. The journeys take her to fantastic worlds, some beautiful, some horrific. All must be explored. First for a cure, then as an alternate world to our own, if it is ever needed.
