This paralyzing perfectionist attitude may cause self-doubt, procrastination, and exhaustion. Additionally, since we continually evaluate ourselves against external norms and compare ourselves to others, it might weaken our feeling of self-worth. Moreover, the unrelenting quest of achievement may cause us to lose sight of the significance of other facets of life, including wellbeing, personal development, and relationships. In the pursuit of success, we compromise our morals, our hobbies, and our health, only to discover much later that we have overlooked the things that really count. We need to rethink what success looks like if we are to escape the illusion of it. Real success is about living a purposeful and happy life rather than merely achieving goals on the outside. It's about following our interests, developing meaningful relationships with others, and serving the larger good. It's about seeing our shortcomings and mistakes as chances for personal development rather than as causes for shame. Furthermore, real success is a journey rather than a destination. It is a continuous process of self-improvement and self-discovery rather than a single moment in time.
