Through The Valley of The Shadow

Om Through The Valley of The Shadow

The photos in this book, "Through the Valley of The Shadows", were shot in two different locations, in two different countries, and using two different cameras. The photos taken at the Monumental Cemetery of Staglieno (Genoa, Italy) was shot with a Fuji Finepix E900, while the photos taken at the Ossuary in Sedlec (Kutna Hora, Czechia), also known as Kostnice Beinhaus, was shot with a Canon EOS 350D. Common for both series is the way they have been digitally treated afterwards. Basically, first they have been run through a contrast/brightness correction. Thereafter they were turned into black and white, and to add more effect to them I chose to use the Virtual Photographer plugin from optikVerveLabs.
