This is an autobiographical account of the training and subsequent career of a retired British Airways airline captain.
It covers the almost two years spent at the airline's own training centre on the south coast near Southampton, and describes in detail the training course run by the airline in the early 1970s, which included ten days in Cyprus.
The author goes on to relate some personal experiences on the various aircraft types he encountered during his career of over 30 years, and includes some insights into how the airline industry works.
