Father John has been the pastor at the St. Augustine Church in West Orange, New Jersey, for over twenty years. But before that, he led a very different life. He worked in a very different type of profession. Now, a sadistic serial killer, a stolen three-year-old girl, and puzzling notes found at several crime scenes will force Father John back into the life he left behind.
