The Universe in Me

Everything happened so quickly, I remember the shock of the people around me when I told them, but I also remember feeling the shock myself once my flight was booked. The instinct that guided me to take this decision was getting even stronger and I let myself be guided by it and I followed. I remember thinking "Wow, it is really happening, I am going to live and work in the UK, leave everything I know behind and go on this adventure into an unknown journey by myself." Laura's story tells of how she left a small town in Romania to make a huge jump into the unknown, guided only by the parting words from her beloved father - "Everything will be okay!"
