The Treasure Beneath the Hill

When Dora goes to stay with Grandpa Jack for the holidays, she is dismayed to find that his house, which stands next to the Church, is about to be demolished. The new Vicar is a lady called Sylvia Pouncer, and she and her friend, the sinister Abner Brown, seem determined to dig up and pillage all the hidden treasures of the town. So begins a tale of myth, mystery and transformation. There are encounters with bats, mice, ghosts, angels and villains; a talking pig; and a journey to the magical shadow land beneath the hill.
