The Rob Shorts

Meet Rob! Rob is a small fellow, but he has a big heart! Like any other mouse, he loves cheese!! And in this batch of stories, it will be plentiful for sure! Rob's Bite-Sized Stories consist of 3 short stories that walk the reader through the life of a mouse named Rob.
The Rob Shorts are written and illustrated by 12-year-old Allyson Kay Abbott. Ally has autism, 16p duplication, and other rare diseases. Even though Ally has daily challenges medically and psychologically, she finds strength through her Guide Dogs of America-Tender Loving Canines Autism Service dog Aries, as well as through her writing teacher and homeschool teacher. Ally began writing and illustrating the Rob stories, when she was 6 or 7 years old. Ally struggles but somehow through all the pain, frustration, and exasperation, Ally has persevered and become an excellent writer. Ally has proven that she will not be defined by her disabilities.
