The Pretty Devil

Pitter-patter! Pitter-patter!!
Pitter-patter!!! Was my
companion as I wandered
through the wild woods on this
cold night.

As I roamed around the woods,
the sound got closer with no
visible sign of raindrops, the
night was cold, dark and lonely,
I wasn't certain why I was out
there in the woods alone.
Seemed like I lost a life-threatening treasure which I
was desperately in search of.
For the past weeks, I have been
paranoid, acting as if another
being lives in me, a very strong
force while someday I don't
feel my skin at all, no one knows of my recent activities
for the past six weeks, not even
Sarah, my mom.
What happens when everyone
realizes I'm possessed by the
spirit of the night?
