The Magic Lift

Radhika Rai is most unhappy when she has to shift to Noida to her paternal grandmother's house along with her mother and her brother since the place their father, Brigadier Rai, is posted is declared a non-family station, a hard field in army lingo. In Noida, a new lift has been installed for the convenience of the Rai family. Radhika's grandmother gives her a fascinating journal written by an ancestor of hers. Radhika is immersed in it and one night, she goes down for a breath of fresh air when a freak burst of lightening hits the lift and she is thrown into an adventure of a lifetime with unbelievable twists and turns. Along the way, she is ably helped by her friends and her sprightly grandmother.
