Ricky Rozay grew up on the west side of Chicago. As a teenager, Rozay was forced to join one of the deadliest and most dangerous street gangs in America: The Almighty Vice Lord Nation.
When Rozay's father suffered a heart attack, Rozay turned a new leaf and joined the Chicago Police Department's fifteenth district in efforts to follow the footsteps of his father.
