Om Tausend Und Eine Nacht
This German work is a translation of the Arabic folk tales known as the Thousand and One Nights. It is based on a manuscript from Tunis and includes stories such as Aladdin and Ali Baba. The translators, Christian Maximilian Habicht and Heinrich Leberecht Fleischer, were both Orientalists and scholars of the Arabic language. A fascinating look at the stories and traditions of the Arab world.
