Sense and Sentiments

Poet Anita Phelps Lockhart-Spainhower is that rare kind of individual, a happy person, and her poetry is an expression of her "love of life and enjoyment of people and appreciation of the beauty and wonder of Nature." Born in Rome, New York, she was married at eighteen, has raised a son and daughter, is a retired resource analyst. She and her husband are the owners of approximately fifty acres of wooded land.
