Saving Alezia's Baby

Om Saving Alezia's Baby

When I decided to write another book for Scarlett, my brother's granddaughter, it had to be about her new favorite, the Giraffe. I knew little about them, so I had to research them. I knew my book had to have a lesson in trust taught to Aezia's baby. I planned at first that I, as an artist, I would illustrate the book. I soon realized that, I would find the giraffe and the story very difficult. Then I remembered my dear friend and brother, Gary Love, who I knew could do a fantastic job. So I called him and happily he agreed to create draft illustrations using his experience with computer graphics. Being computer illiterate, I spent months with my brother drafting pictures to match my story line. Finally, it all came together and we are both very happy with the results. After many years of acting, Carole finally listened to others and decided to start writing. At age 79 she began by writing a four-book novel about women in early American history. Her next book, 'It's Ally's Turn' came as a surprise to her as it was a book for children. Now at 90, Carole, has finished 'Saving Alezia's Baby' and completed several other science fiction books she had in mind, a startling adult adventure named 'A Bartender's Holiday' and a space audacy named 'The New Planet'. Currently, she is finishing her autobiography, 'Tale of a Cockeyed Optimist'. Her brother, Gary, is a retired scientist with many technical pubications. At 79, this is his first children's book collaborating with Carole. He revised and simplified her story and prepared drafts of all ilustrations for completion by a professional artist.
