Salt Tectonics in Sedimentary Basins: Applications to Earth Sciences, Basin Analysis, Petroleum and Mineral Exploration aims to introduce the subject to a broad audience of earth scientists who are not specialists in salt tectonics but wish to acquire a broad, global knowledge and understand the basic  principles of evaporite deposition and  salt tectonics as applied to earth sciences,  basin analysis, petroleum and mineral exploration.
