In this follow-up to Sadie and Her New Wheels, Sadie's family goes on vacation with Annie, Missy, and Gracie. Once they arrive at the beach, Sadie enjoys all kinds of great adventures: eating hot dogs, sharing ice cream, riding bikes, spending time on the boardwalk, and taking walks on the beach in her wheels.

Then Sadie meets Scrappy, a seagull, and an unlikely friendship develops.
