Roses

Immersive portrait poems describing people and places in Chicagoland and Some poems include reflections on my own life and how it relates to everything and everyone around me there or where they've left their mark. Other poems are submersive like a midnight protest in torrential rain hoping to stop the death penalty. The collection ends with a poem about a 90s-era punk rock show in a desolate, California strip mall.
