Om Quest for the Invisibles
There exists an entire world around us that cannot be seen. The human eye sees only about 2.5% of the electromagnetic spectrum, so a number of people have questioned what is hidden from us, and are exploring the invisible world around us. Trevor James Constable was a pioneer who began this work in the California desert in the 1950s, photographing what he considered to be UFO-type objects and strange biological creatures traversing the skies in the infrared part of the spectrum. Inspired by this work, Nik Hayes has taken it even further by recording both in the infrared and ultraviolet realms, along with converting a video camera to take moving footage in addition to stills. The results of his first few years of work, conducted in the U.K., are included in this book. Hayes is one of the first researchers to break through into this other reality and provide us a glimpse of the strange creatures and objects that seem to live there, otherwise unseen by the human eye.
