Purple Patch

Purple Patch is the story of a surfboard that repeatedly changes hands. It is set on the east coast of Australia during the 60s and early 70s. The surfboard brings out the best and worst in people. It is at the centre of love stories and family breakdowns, personal triumphs and psychotic episodes. For some, the surfboard offers a chance of real happiness, while for others, it is the kiss of death.
