Probability theory is a fundamental pillar of modern mathematics with relations to other mathematical areas like algebra, topology, analysis, geometry or dynamical systems. The principal objects of probability theory are random variables, stochastic processes, and events. This book presents the basics of probability, and discusses the fundamental law of total probability and Bayes' theorem.
