Present and Future of Urban Planning

Urban planning can be described as a technical and political process concerned with the welfare of people, control of the use of land, design of the urban environment including transportation and communication networks, and protection and enhancement of the natural environment. Firstly, we present the general information about urban planning and its definition. We also discuss a Conceptual List of Indicators on Earth Observation, A Framework of Adaptive Risk Governance and Identifying the Risk Areas and Urban Growth by ArcGIS-Tools for urban planning.
