British progressive rock group Pink Floyd released 15 studio albums between 1967 and 2014 (there was a 20 year gap between the 14th and 15th). Their original lead singer ceased to be a member of the band two months prior to the release of their second album A SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS (June 1968).
After enormous global success and releasing two of the most famous albums in history, their bass player and primary songwriter left in 1985 for a solo career. The band carried on for three more albums released over a time period from 1987 - 2014.
This project focuses on the era of the five studio albums released between 1969 and 1972, with a couple songs from late 1968 as well.
