The current research aims to measure the perception of the daily life of young people in Las Pampas, parish Antonio Sotomayor (Playa de Vinces), Vinces canton in the Province of Los Rios, in order to visualize the degree of needs that young people in the rural sector go through this stage of their lives. The National Institute of Statistics and Census, states that 63.3% of young people in Ecuador who are located in rural areas are of limited economic resources. Additionally, access to public services is not easy for this age group, and this generates that their basic needs are unsatisfied (NBI), while 26% are in extreme poverty (Estévez, 2017).
