On the borderlands

Duncan Lutz wanted to be somebody, to prove himself to his friends, family and the world. He thought joining the military would let him do just that. His hopes were dashed by one failed test but he was given one last opportunity but it would mean giving up a part of himself. He would soon find out he would have to give up more than his mortal flesh.
