Off Grid Electric

The utility company wanted $50,000 to bring electricity to us, if we dug the trenches! Maybe we should consider off-grid! We could build it for less than the cost of bringing in grid power, and we would be doing the environment a favor! After a quick trip to YouTube University, I was ready to go. This short account takes you through the basic steps-getting the energy from the sun, the wind, and the water, then running it to the charge controller, the battery bank, the inverter, and to the building's distribution panel.
