Northern Inuit Dog

The Northern Inuit Dog is a type of canine that looks very similar to a wolf. They are a hybrid of the Siberian Husky, the Alaskan Malamute, and the German Shepherd that was created in the 1980s in the United Kingdom. The plan was to develop a domestic dog that looked like a wolf but had a more manageable and trainable personality, making it ideal for homes with children.
With their thick double coats, erect ears, and bushy tails, Northern Inuit Dogs are often likened to wolves. They make excellent companion animals because of their pleasant demeanor, loyalty, and social nature. Notable kennel clubs, such as the American Kennel Club (AKC) and The Kennel Club (UK), do not recognize the Northern Inuit Dog as a breed. It remains a relatively rare and unofficial breed.
Because they were used to portray the direwolves of House Stark, these dogs are sometimes linked to the "Game of Thrones" TV series. Their popularity was boosted by their striking appearance and the show's association with it, but prospective owners should proceed with caution before committing to one. Their large size and high energy output may not be suitable for all households. Before adopting a dog of this breed, it is important to study up on what the breed requires and how it behaves.
