Neighbours

Through a series of portraits taken of strangers in 2022, lit by Portland's trademark overcast skies, Sky Wilson constructs a vague sketch of an unremarkable yet familiar place, where longing and isolation share the same space. Sky Wilson is a photographer who explores the subtle details of the ordinary and peripheral. Born in South Korea, he has an intuitive approach to his subjects (strangers) and he finds sentimental beauty in the inconsequential moments of everyday life. He specialises in portraiture and is based in Portland, Oregon.
