This book is based on research of the Women''s Building archives housed at the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered Historical Society.Playwright MERCILEE M. JENKINS, Professor of Communication at S.F. State University, worked with students and other volunteers to collectoral histories from founders.
