Elizabeth is pregnant and alone when her boyfriend, Nick, ends up in prison. With nowhere to go, she meets the Ciresco family. Understanding Elizabeth's difficulties, they're willing to help with her children. As the years pass, life goes smoothly. Elizabeth feels blessed until an accident leaves her world torn apart and her children mysteriously missing.
She is suddenly thrust into an evil underworld she never knew existed. In an effort to recover her kids, Elizabeth becomes a mercenary for hire. She now fights powerful people who exist above the law, but each target she takes out brings her one step closer to finding her beloved children. Once out of jail, Nick goes looking for Elizabeth but can't find her. She seems to have disappeared without a trace. He enlists the help of a friend to try and discover what happened to the woman he loved.
