"I wrote this book after reading Lt/Col. Davis's excellent book on the Surrey and Sussex Yeomanry of WWII. He mentioned some of the awards in his book and listed the rest at the back of his book, but no Citations. So I took it upon myself to find all the Citations and all the award winners and write a book showing them. I also listed all those who had awards and had died, and the country where they died and the cemetery they are buried in."
