Message of the Medallion

A thousand years after the birth of Christ the heirs of Rome, the Byzantines, are enjoying a golden age of prosperity. The Empire is surrounded, however, by numerous foes who are intent on carving her territory up for themselves. A young nobleman, Isaac Laskaris, has kept many of them at bay and, now, has been selected by the Emperor for a special mission. Before his departure he meets the lovely and enchanting Eudokia. The pair pledge themselves to one another and Isaac vows to return. on his journey, Isaac is faced by a fierce storm, pirates and a horde of nomads beseiging his destination. Will Isaac return to his love unscathed? Or will he survive to face the ultimate test in the form of an invasion of his beloved Empire?
