Love on Your Babies

My name is Lateefah Butts. I am from Philadelphia, PA and currently live in Atlanta, GA. I have a two-year-old daughter who is my world! The children in my life have inspired me to write a children's book. This book represents all of the children around the world who may feel like they do not have a voice. Maybe they do not know how to handle their emotions. Maybe they do not feel that they have anyone to talk to. There are many children who feel that they cannot talk to an adult about their troubles and they end up holding in those emotions. This can be dangerous. It is important for our babies to have an outlet. As parents, guardians, teachers, or even doctors, let's be that outlet! Listen to the children in your life. Protect their innocence. Watch body language and be conscious of their feelings. Although they are small, they just might reveal something to you that you may have never imagined. You can make a difference!
