In taking the reader to limbo, a reality and place often neglected, we find beings worthy of our interest and deserving of our respect. Faces, personalities, and differing desires make our new friends so very much like us. As the author helps us in the process of getting to know them and their stories, we come to value our own lives, our own story, and perhaps life itself, just a bit more.
