I wrote this book to explore all of these themes and more. Like New is a book that centers around love, uniqueness, friendships, relationships, and pride. It is very important to have a strong sense of self in life. You don't get lost or bulldozed by obstacles that are thrown your way. That helps to build self-respect and self-confidence. It is also a form of rebellion in a world that is complex, confusing, and even dark at times. I wrote Like New to remind people that their past does not have to define them and that they can have a life that they are proud of!
