Lies Into Truths

Words and ideas are seeds. It doesn't matter whether they come from you or someone else. Somehow, the negative ones never need much tending, they'll grow if you're not careful to root them out- not unlike weeds. The positive ones on the other hand will need to be carefully tended to, in order to grow well. Have you wondered why, when a person insults you in an unknown language, you are not disturbed because you don't understand, and yet when the thought that you're being insulted comes, you start to feel upset. Why is that?
Even if it's a language you understand, it could be an insult that's completely untrue about you, and yet it gets to you somehow.
The truth is that nobody can make you feel small without your permission and agreement. You just need to accept those words, process them over and over, and that's when the trouble starts.
In the same way, what you wish to be true concerning you can in fact become your truth. When it truly becomes so, you don't have to try to manipulate others to see you in a certain way. They'll just naturally do, because what is real to you will eventually become real to them.
