Motherhood, madness, and mayhem! This tell all journal of letters is about a dysfunctional family that can't quite get it right. It is heart wrenching, yet pain-staking funny how the main character deals with situations when they arise.
"I'm not at all excited about going to my parent's house for a visit. Every time I think about it my anxiety level shoots sky high. If stress brings on my seizures then I should be doing the old shake and bake right about now? I don't believe the doctor knows what he's talking about."
"I'm putting a clause in my will that if anyone contests it, they will lose everything. I'm leaving you my teeth and my toenail collection. Please don't say anything to my daughters. They don't know that I'm leaving you my prize possessions. I certainly don't want the bickering to begin, especially since I'm still alive!"
The book is filled with hilarious ranting. If you have experienced dysfunction in your life then this book is something you should read. This book is strong, painfully honest, and nakedly candid.
