The death chamber, the sea chanting, the shouts, the thrusts of the harpoons, the thrashing of tons of tuna fish, the turbulence of the waters, the traditional bath of the tuna fishermen as they dived into the blood-red waters as a final act of thanksgiving for a good catch are all echoes of the past! This is to never forget the glorious period of sicilian history and the Mattanza, demonstrating the Mediterranean fisherman's labor, sacrifice, inventiveness and audacity.
