When Cape Hatteras seafood exporter Seth Tinsley discovers that his products have attracted an ancient Japanese company determined to reclaim Japan's culinary heritage, he still doesn't understand that his competitors consider business as war. Seth's relief after his acquittal of murder at a party miss-hap is short lived when his business to an exclusive segment of Japan's Tsukiji seafood market inexplicably deteriorates and then his friends and partners die in obscure accidents. While Seth struggles with coming to terms with his loses, an Osaka trading company surprises him with a lucrative buy-out offer for his troubled Kill Devil Hills, NC company. Seth goes against his instincts and accepts the mysterious buy-out offer. Instead of collecting the rewards for the sale of his seafood company, Seth Tinsley finds himself alone in Japan, wanted for mass-murder, and an expendable pawn of the US Government. With all of his legitimate resources tied up, Seth has to somehow lure them all away from his technology business that will destroy their dynasty.
