These Urdu poetic compositions begin with expression of a range of the travails of unrequited love in the Sub-continental culture still in transition to emancipation.The verses go on to intimate some thought-provoking perspectives on the great unanswered questions of human existence.
The book is distinct in being printed in the author's own manuscript handwriting. Secondly, his own English translation of the verses is included in the second half of the book, in the order of the Urdu content. At the end there are a few of his English poems.
