It's Great to be Alive

This memoir is an inspiring and very personal account of how Lawrence and Selma Warkentin steadfastly trusted in God’s guidance and selflessly pursued a lifelong calling to ministry. It is a personal testimony of overcoming near-death experiences, in which the Lord spared them for a life of church planting. Now, looking back over that span of more than 45 years, they have come to realize that there is no greater calling then to serve God, no greater contribution than to extend the boundaries of Christ’s kingdom and no greater satisfaction than to have left a legacy of seven flourishing churches in Canada, Germany, and Austria.
