In a Grain of Sand, the Whole World

At Jacob's well near Shechem, Samaria, Photini meets Jesus. When he tells her everything about herself (things no stranger could possibly know) she is convinced Jesus must be the Messiah, and agrees to wait for a sign from him to return to the well. In the meantime, Jesus walks from town to city to select his twelve apostles from a variety of social stations. While preaching and healing, he attempts to transform these men into fishers of people for the kingdom of God. He also intends to show them how to worship God in spirit and in truth. Although not one of his twelve disciples, Photini and other women become strong advocates for Jesus, and convert many to the new Christian faith throughout the ancient world. Photini and her five sisters even manage to convert Nero's concubine, Domnina, which enrages the Roman emperor. IN A GRAIN OF SAND, THE WHOLE WORLD is the story of these extraordinary people as they travel throughout Judea, Palestine, and other parts of their world preaching the good news and healing everyone who comes to Jesus in faith.
