I Wish I Was Dead Instead

"I got sucked right into it. It was really good. I couldn't put my phone down. My boyfriend said he was trying to talk to me and I was completely ignoring him...I got really into it. I did cry. I'm not going to lie. It takes a lot to be able to write like that. And I just wanted to say that I'm really proud of the book. And you should be proud too. I enjoyed reading it."
Mental illness comes in so many forms, no journey being the same, but hopefully my story can help others to show that they are not alone. This is my personal journey thus far with mental illness and the road I am taking to get better. "Let's raise a toast to anyone who is struggling with any form of mental illness, to those who struggle with daily tasks and taking care of themselves or those they are responsible for. Here is to the future where, one day, I will have hope - one day, I will live."
