Two hundred years have passed since World War Three decimated the world and destroyed many countries, leaving new ones to take the place of old. With these changes came technological advancements never before seen both medical and fashionable, as well as the growth of a trade business once considered horrendous but now is the most booming market in many parts of the new world - the Slave Trade.
From laborer to breeders and everything in between, many of the rich visit the Pet Shops to purchase their own slave for their own desires.
It is in one of these establishments in the Kingdom of Symphrain that eighteen year old Lyra Roselette finds herself after a night of fun with her two friends, Jaida and Aime. What should have been a night out with the girls soon became a waking nightmare when Lyra realizes she has been abducted and sold as a slave to none other than the Crown Prince of Symphrain - Prince Alekai Nightwood.
