Healing a Broken Heart: Where the Wild Things is a personal story of finding a way to heal from the sadness and heartache that comes from losing a very close loved one. The story deals with long term complicated grief during the world crisis, the COVID-19 Pandemic. The story was written during the period of lockdown and social isolation. The author takes you on a journey of self-discovery during this period of time by revisiting previous travels from a memory. During these travels a deep connection is made between the land and the animals inhabiting the sacred lands, where the wild things are.
