Gypsy Road

A journey she never imagined taking. . . It's 1976 and twenty-six-year-old Randi Stokes leaves a bad marriage and Ohio behind and sets out on a cross country journey to find America, to find her freedom, and to find herself. Among the grand vistas of America she encounters an eclectic mix of characters. From a lively old woman serving free coffee on the roadside in Indiana, to a sweet, young farm boy in Illinois, to wild and dangerous robbers in Missouri, to a heartbroken hitchhiker in Kansas, to a lonely auto mechanic in Colorado. Their lives touch each other as she passes through. When she reaches San Francisco she can finally free herself of the only life she ever knew and let the future take her where it will.
