Green Butterfly

Green Butterfly is a collection of poetry paralleling a young woman's life as she embraces self-identity, undergoes lessons of love, remembers life, reflects on issues, and welcomes change. Written between June 1999 (the author's entrance into her senior year in high school) to June 2003 (the author's entrance into her senior year in college), Green Butterfly is the culmination of the beautiful discovery of a woman's voice translated into poetry.
King's poetry is masterful and allows her readers to follow her in flight. Long after the last poem is read, her words will transform into lasting memory.
