Om Gemini Secrets
Gemini (♊︎)Latin for "twins" is the zodiac's third astrological sign. The sun passes through this sign under the tropical zodiac from around May 21 to June 21. Greek mythology's "Dioscuri," the twins Castor and Pollux, are the symbol for Gemini. It is seen as a favorable and flexible omen. The stars Pollux and Castor were referred to as the Great Twins in Babylonian astronomy. Lugal-irra and Meslamta-ea, which translate to "The Mighty King" and "The One who has arisen from the Underworld" respectively, were their names. Nergal is the author of both names. May also be alluding to Hades and Zeus. Gemini is connected to the story of Castor and Pollux in Greek mythology. Leda was seduced by Zeus's son Pollux, and her husband, Spartan King Tyndareus, was the father of Castor. Pollux requested his father Zeus to grant Castor immortality when he passed away because he was a mortal, and Zeus obliged by merging the two of them in the skies. Gemini is a sign of the zodiac that embodies two distinct personalities, making individuals quick-witted and expressive. They are talkative, friendly, and always up for a good time, yet they may also turn somber, introspective, and agitated at any time. They have an insatiable curiosity about the world and frequently feel as though there is not enough time to visit everything they would like to. Along with Libra and Aquarius, Gemini, being an Air sign, is associated with all areas of the mind. This sign is ruled by Mercury, who stands for mobility, writing, and communication. Those who are born under the sign of Gemini frequently feel as though they are missing their other half and are always looking for new companions, mentors, coworkers, and social interactions.
