Being the first lady for a pastor can be a thrilling experience for a woman, especially if her husband is a megachurch pastor or a TV evangelist. However, behind the scenes of these public displays of faith, secrets can be tearing the first lady's marriage and sanity apart. The new Christian novel by Barbara McKinney, When is the First Lady Ever First, shines a light on the hidden struggles of pastors' wives, from spousal abuse to insecurity to infidelity in marriage. In the novel, narrator Mary Eckles is a psychologist dealing with the sudden suicide of her friend Jane, a first lady of a megachurch pastor. As a last request, Jane asks Mary to provide outreach to some of Jane's fellow first ladies that are dealing with emotional dilemmas of their own. Mary discovers more of God's purpose for her as she connects with these ladies on a professional/personal basis.
This book is based on a true story about a man who had hardship since he was a little child. Going through agony living with a single mother, an abusive stepfather, being homeless, living I n poverty, scared and fearful for his life. He was able to build a relationship with God and God continued to protect him
In the history of America, other human beings seem to get the empathy to mourn and build memorials after a trauma occurs in their lives-except the black race. We had a trauma in the Western Hemisphere that lasted over four hundred years. Yet, after slavery and segregation, our people were expected to pick up the pieces of life and move on. We were expected to live in self-denial as if the scars we were carrying never happened. The statistics are heartbreaking. One in three black males can expect to spend time in prison. One in one hundred black women are in prison. The high school graduation rate for black males is under fifty percent. Fifty-four percent of black children are raised by single mothers. These tragedies have not occurred by chance. Thus Jason Panton points out that the most important component is hope. This hope is the hope of redemption offered by a loving and merciful God. He is not a God who visits with us for a few hours on Sunday morning, nor a God to be called upon only in times of distress. He is a God who eagerly awaits a personal and constant relationship with every individual. The Bible is clear that Jesus Christ has a tender heart for the oppressed, the despised, the broken hearted, the hopeless, and the outcast, and His heart is unchangeable. "Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even unto the sure mercies of David" (Is 55:3).
About the Author: I was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington. I have been writing since 2002 and in 2012, I published my first book "Be Encouraged". My latest book, "Shifting the Atmosphere, praying God's word for everyday life", came about from different situations and dreams that happen and didn't happen in my life. I learned over the years that for most if not all situations that happen in life, God's word can be applied. "Daughters of Destiny" bible study group that I belong to, taught me a lot about how to find that scripture that applies to my situation and pray it and claim it over my situation. God is faithful to His word, and when you have trouble with making decisions or anything you can find the answer in God's word. This book is for all ages and is a great gift for high school or college graduates. My prayer is that this book will help, inspire, and draw you closer to God. I also hope that you will be enriched and greatly blessed as you Shift the Atmosphere praying God's word everyday life. Be Blessed! Marla L Grace

Her marriage is better than ever, her children are happy, and her family seems to have solved all its problems. When she comes to, she manages to escape from the wreck, but it is to the realization that she has no memory of her former life. All she is conscious of are the pain of her injuries and the word of the man who says he is her husband, the man who rescued her from the scene of the accident. But, if he is her husband, why does she feel this unreasonable fear of him--this sense of danger? While she is fighting to regain her memory, Jim and the Blakemore Security Team and the Keillor Agency are all searching desperately for a clue as to her whereabouts. Will they rescue her before it is too late? Who, if anyone, will survive this latest attack on the family? Author Bio: J. W. Watkins, the author of the Jett Blakemore series, is a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Although she has filled many roles in her life, she considers writing to be God's calling. The title given to this book is "pretty much" descriptive of its content. This book redefines the period we call "the Church Age," presenting a Biblically sound concept of Church from Genesis to The Revelation. This book is written in an informal teaching format to the student, whose heart cry is, "Shucks, ... I just want to understand what I am reading." This was written without theological jargons and the added complexity that comes with such. Jesus kept it simple, plain and down to earth. It causes me to smile when I think of the analogy Jesus used in reference to our gathering together to meet Him. He said, "For where so ever the carcass is, there will the eagles (vultures- literally) be gathered together. (Matt. 24:28) That was a very visually descriptive example. Author Bio: I am married; I have four kids; I love Jesus and sometimes I will display the silly side of my personality. I committed my life to the Lord in 1976, began preaching in 1979; was licensed and ordained in 1980 and enjoys fellowshipping with major and minor denominations, independent organizations and all who call upon the Lord out of a pure heart.

Shawn Axelrod, a 39 year old Navy Commander fighter test pilot, is literally cut in half during a crash in an experimental airplane, but lives long enough to give permission to a new surgery that could give him another chance at life. He wakes up and finds himself with the body of a 21 year old Marine helicopter mechanic. A female mechanic! Shawn, now called Shawna, also known by the call sign "Axeman," or "Axe," copes with the radical change in his, her, life and having to prove she is still just as capable as she was as a male. Her journey back into service finds her facing the same Russian pilot her father shot down over Vietnam. Bailey Lianae was a young attorney whose Army career was just getting started when she crashed her car into a guardrail that entered her chest and went through a corner of her heart. Knowing she would die as soon as the metal was removed from her chest, she also gave permission to the same surgical team that saved Axe and wakes traumatized to find herself as a male who requires Axe's help to adjust. Together, they made history, and together they help each other through it all.
Wilson L. Albert has been a Pastor for nineteen years. He is presently the Senior Pastor of ''El Elyon Ministries'' located in Hempstead New York. He received his call to the ministry when he was eight years old, in February 22, 1971. His life in the ministry has not always been easy, but in everything and any circumstances, God has never forsaken him. The God of the Christian is faithful. He always keeps His promises. According to Romans 8:29, God had predestined us to be conformed to the image of His Son, Jesus. The only way this will be possible, is to let the Spirit have His own way in us. He will produce His fruit in us and we will have the Son''s character.
How does a Christian, living in what was once the Midwest United States, live as a child of God in an Islamic controlled world? Both coasts of the former United States have been destroyed and made uninhabitable by Islamic terrorists with nuclear weapons. Now the habitable Midwest is part of the Islamic Superstate with headquarters in Cairo, Egypt. St. Louis is the ruling center of the Midwestern Caliphate. Just across the Mississippi is Belleville, a city in the former state of Illinois. Here is where Bill Maserek, a high school English teacher and sincere Christian, must come to grips with his place and mission in this new world. There are friends, some within his own fellowship, who are seeking a violent overthrow of the government. Others want to peacefully coexist with their Islamic neighbors, becoming leaven for the dough of their society. Those who confess Jesus Christ as Lord find comfort, guidance and strength in God''s Word."Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you... However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name." (1Peter 4:12-16)"The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever." (Revelation 11:15)

Silent Steps is the inspirational book of one man''s effort to try to spotlight the epidemic of violence that is jeopardizing the safety and the future of our nation. In a courageous effort to gain the attention of our nation''s leaders, Randy Sargent walked over 500 miles from Buffalo NY to Washington D.C, carrying the names of homicide victims from across our nation. After every mile Randy walked, he placed a footprint with a victim''s name on it as a visual reminder of the lives that have been lost to homicide. This 500-mile walking memorial was called "The Voices of Homicide Memorial Walk to Washington D.C". What began as a memorial walk, ended up being a powerful and life-changing spiritual journey with God. Along the way Randy realized that no matter how far we walk or march, true change cannot take place unless the heart of man is transformed by Jesus Christ. With the help of God, Randy was shown that the increasing violence of our nation is a direct result of our society''s attempt to remove God and prayer from all aspects of life. This powerful and thought provoking book will challenge our Church, communities, and the conscience of our nation. Randy''s courage, passion, and his love for the community will be felt as you read this book and re-walk the 58-day journey with him. Silent Steps is certain to capture it''s readers as Randy gives a testimony of how God had chosen him to be a voice for the voiceless. Randy Sargent is a community activist, and the current Youth Pastor at Victory International Assembly of God, in Buffalo NY. Since returning home from the "Voices of Homicide Memorial Walk to Washington D.C", Randy has been invited to many speaking engagements to share his powerful testimony. He currently lives in the City of Buffalo, and is married to his beautiful wife Seraphine and has two daughters Shai and Kaze.
In God Speaks: Recognizing His Voice, David Cannon points out a fundamentaltruth: God spoke to His children when He created them, and He never stopped.Believers must become more aware in discerning the voice of God, which may notconsist of audible language. Instead, God may communicate through dreams,Scripture inspiration, angels, prophetic words, visions and subtle prompting.Cannon also shares the testimony of his relentless pursuit of God''s voice, a hungerfor hearing God that continues today-and tomorrow. He encourages believers toseek after and identify the spiritual gifts, citing 1 Corinthians 4:1, a verse thatpresents an overarching imperative, one that Christ Himself referred to in namingthe greatest commandment for His disciples: Make love your highest goal.David and his wife, Theresa, accept speaking and ministry engagements for homeministry meetings, retreats, conferences, seminars, prophetic training andactivation meetings, as well as dream/dream interpretation meetings.
Love is the most misused and misrepresented word in our lives. Jesus Christ is love. Transformation comes by the renewing of our minds through God''s Word and a relationship with Jesus Christ. Like a caterpillar changed into a butterfly, I was one of the chief sinners on the earth. I was in crisis and wanted to die when one of God''s faithful daughters, Jennifer Sanon, invited me to go to church. Accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior was the most important decision of my life. It was the best decision of my life as I exchanged a life of bondage and torment for a relationship with God the Father through His Son and began to walk in the fruit of the Holy Spirit. I will defend the truth of Jesus Christ for the rest of my earthly life.Yours truly,Love Evangelist BillyLife is meant to be lived in the glorious light with love, faith, hope, boldness, courage, and enjoyment even through our fiery trials to victory in Jesus!
Evil is lawlessness, unrighteousness, sin (1 John 3:4; 5:17). Bullying and suicide among school kids are evil, just as lying, dictatorship, gossip, strife, hatred, sexual immorality, murder, among others. They stem from unwise, selfish, fleshly desires. The source of it all is satan, the deceiver of the world (Revelation 12:9). They are fruit of the sin nature in a rebellious humanity in a fallen world, following Adam''s disobedience in the Garden of Eden. Hence, the natural, unregenerated man, whose heart and mind are under the control of the devil, neither knows the will and things of God, nor understands and does them as they are foolishness to him.Bullying and suicide among school children, like all evil, are a spiritual problem, not physical. Therefore, it requires a supernatural power, stronger than satan''s, that can change their heart and mind. That is the power of the Creator-God, who is All-powerful, All-knowing, and All-present, through His Word. A thousand laws, stepped up security, banning or confiscating guns are all men''s carnal weapons that can hardly win a spiritual warfare, for we''re not fighting flesh and blood but spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). The sword of the spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17) is the appropriate weapon. Denying these kids the word of God means depriving them of the greatest need of all mankind, the spiritual food, Jesus.Rather, let the word of God have free course in a nation and her school children to avoid self-destruction. Then God, the Greatest Transformer, will, through His Word and His Holy Spirit, transform their hearts and mind, and conform them to the image of His Son (Romans 8:29). Only God''s Way, Word (Jesus), in them, is the answer to the problem.
The Dedication, printed word-for-word as presented to the King over 400 years ago. Book includes a dedication of its own, to William Tyndale, the martyr whose bible and dying prayer aided the near-fifty scholars that presented the English speaking world with the King James Version, "Authorized " Holy Bible. There is beauity in the words of dedication as well as that beloved text itself.Newer versions and/or translations will continually get newer and even with newer translations. There is no need to toil at re-doing the KJV. It is the ''new'' versions that will continually get ''newer''. The King James Version is entering its fifth century...old yes, but it won''t get any older. One popular version, touted as ''International'' has has been ''renewed'' three times in the past ten years. As new printings and copyrights appear, the KJV and that authorized text is strengthened. It can certainly be understood and repeated as being the greatest gift EVER to the English speaking world. The author of this dedication presentation, Sherman Pettis, is a mere layman; a man schooled in a Christian home with a Christian family. His personal health challenge is poignantly explained as the text here unfolds. He feels the words that were assembled speaking to a king are wholly worthy accompanying any older or even a newer copy of the King James Version "Authorized" Holy Bible...the KJV.
The information in Christian, Awake! is urgently needed by Christians worldwide. The author's explanations of Biblical prophecies and warnings combined with "behind the scenes" current events validate his position that we are quickly approaching the End Times. Every person alive today needs to be prepared for what is coming. - Retired Registered Nurse As I observe the political, economic, and spiritual events ongoing in today's world, it is clear to me that we are approaching the time that God's Word describes to us as "the end times." The author of Christian, Awake! clearly draws from his experience in the military and ministry to show us that the church in America is asleep. Every person who is awake needs to give this book to someone they know to be asleep. - Retired U. S. Navy Captain The book "Christian, Awake!" is an excellent message to the sleeping churches in America. The author gives examples of what Christians can do in these last days. David Scrimshaw describes modern technology in simple terms that could explain many of the things the Bible records will occur in the last days. His message is strictly based on the Bible and every Christian needs to purchase this book. - Preston T. Bailey, PhD, DMin.
The saying goes that age is just a number; for Christian author R.J. Dyer, the same sentiment applied to her milestone birthday of thirty. Some peers she encountered said one's life and fun was over at age thirty; others related to her that her life's journey was just beginning at thirty. R.J. chose to take a different approach to starting her third decade of life by bestowing on family, friends, and even strangers, thirty words of wisdom through social media. The response was impressive, prompting R.J. to reach more audiences through publishing the thirty anecdotes in 30 Things I've Learned in 30 Years. Comical but relatable, R.J. shares memorable stories over her thirty years of living, shaped by her grasp of biblical scripture and God's grace. The words of wisdom range in content from recognized topics such as patience, responsibility and men and women differences, to more profound topics such as realizing who each person is in God's eyes and seeing time as an opportunity to grow. You need to allow those lessons, i.e. wounds, in your life to teach you whatever the Lord desires for you to accomplish so you can ace the test. Time doesn't heal all wounds, but time is God's blessing to us so we have the occasion to learn and repent. Each life lesson connects to readers of any age, developing a bond with them through shared experiences, faith-based beliefs and understandings of what is right and wrong. So, it's true that age shouldn't matter when charting one's journey in life, but it should present a moment to reflect on where one is going and whether God is leading that journey forward. With the Master Instructor, faith, and a willing spirit, we all can learn those important lessons and boldly share them with others.
It is my sincere hope that some portion of this book; some of the parables spoke to your heart in a meaningful fashion and has helped you on your journey of faith. Where they bring encouragement; let them encourage you, where they bring comfort; let them comfort you; where they offer warning, pay them heed, for the Coming of the Lord is indeed at hand. Prepare to have your heart broken when you read In the Cleft: Joy Comes in the Mourning. In return you will discover how people endure the worst of tragedies. With devastating honesty, Dana Goodman writes about the loss of her 30-year-old husband, her young son, and her mother-in-law to cancer. If that is not enough, she must also try to support her second husband through his cancer battle at the same time her son is diagnosed with a deadly brain tumour. She answers nightmarish questions that parents sometimes torture themselves with, such as how would a mother or father tell a beloved child that he is dying and there is nothing to be done to save him. Dana outlines with incredible insight her most desperate moments; her irrational, frantic efforts to ward off cancer; and her anger with the God she so deeply loves. She describes how her husband and son dealt with their terminal illnesses and how her younger son, other family members, and friends coped with events that seemed too terrible to be real. Yet, she also writes of hope, gratitude, and forgiveness. In the most beautiful but simple prose, she reveals how people are able to draw upon deep inner strength even in the darkest hours. Intertwined with the pain and sadness, there are tales of adventure and physical endurance, and humour. This uniquely personal book will help grieving people understand they are not alone. It will offer awareness to others who simply wonder why things happen and how those who are struck down by life's tragedies are able to emerge again into the light. In the Cleft: Joy Comes in the Mourning offers refuge to the saddest hearts and hope for all of us who fear we would not be able to go on. -Susan Duncan danagoodmaninthecleft.com

Family & Love Ones...Brothers & Sisters... I pray that upon making the decision to open this book; you will open your heart, mind and spirit to allow the truth of God's Word to enlighten you to the understanding of "who you" are now and the person that God created you to be. I beg of you that if there is any doubt, uncertainty or questions regarding the individual you are and the person that your heart and spirit is revealing during and after reading this book; find a local church or ministry nearby and have the Pastor, Minister, Reverend, etc., someone pray with you, pray for you and welcome you into the "family of God!" We are God's children; created in His image & likeness. If we fall (flaws), He'll pick us up and forgive us. Then He promised that if we be willing and obedient to His Word (commandments); we'll eat the good of the land...blessed with favor that only He can give. Just remember what He said in His Word; in "Psalm 23"...He is our Shepherd and we shall not want! He's always with us! He'll forgive you too! Thank you for being the blessing you are and a true blessing to me by supporting me in my journey to do what God has commissioned and ordained for me to do. All that know me understands that all I desire is to be blessed to be a blessing to others and I pray that I may have assisted in doing that with this book. Blessings & Love, Ms. Terica Renee' Dees
